Disability and Home Support Services are currently seeking experienced Healthcare Support workers to join our team in the Waterford area. This role would be suitable for someone who is seeking full / part time workand has experience as a healthcare assistant.
Role of Support Worker:
Disability and Home support Service Support Workers and Social Care workers provide a variety of services that enable people with disabilities to be valued members of their community. These services are meant to enhance the qualify of life for people with disabilities and or complex needs. At disability and Home Support Services the client is at the forefront of what we do, our aim is to work with the client and their families to achieve positive meaningful change in their lives and assist them to reach their full potential, whatever that may be.
These services generally fall under seven categories:
· Socialisation
· Assisting with activities of daily living (ADL)
· ASD Specific Services
· Transport Services
· Social Activities
· Home Support
· Agency Based Supports
Qualifications and Experience:
Support Workers must have obtained a minimum of 2 QQI modules in Healthcare Support/ Intellectual Disability Studies/ Social Care or equivalent.
Employment type

Salary: €13.20-€19.80 per hour
