About the job
You will lead our membrane team of around 10 people for both Sales & Service to drive & support sales. The business has a high potential for growth. You will also be responsible for Customer Support, providing order handling and supporting online sales of all membrane orders to Alfa Laval Nakskov A/S. Key areas to grow in over the coming years are dairy, sustainable food, and biopharma.
In this leadership role you enjoy working in an agile mode and aligning your team to the bigger picture of the Membrane Sales, our whole Business Unit, and Alfa Laval in total – by sharing, nurturing talent, and driving team performance through inclusion & diversity. You are expected to work closely with our Sales Companies, Marketing & Product management, Engineering & Supply, and the Test & Application Center to secure an outstanding customer experience over the full business lifecycle. Your tasks will evolve around but are not limited to:
- Own and drive the global membrane business for Capital sales, Service & Components
- Enable long term competence in SC for membranes.
- Enable and drive the membrane 2026 strategy.
- Enable support to Sales Companies on technical and commercial matters.
- Develop and enable the central team capabilities and priorities, with a clear focus on digitalization.
- Secure a continued establishment of BeOne+ with the Sales Companies
- Being close to the market and lead the team by supporting, decision-making, and by being close to operational matters.
- Active contributor in the relevant management teams
The position is based in Copenhagen and/or Nakskov, Denmark. Alfa Laval offers a hybrid work model, with the opportunity to work from home when it fits with your tasks. Travelling will be expected approximately 40-60 days a year.
What you know
You possess a Strong business acumen with a strong customer focus. We expect you to have a technical education at bachelor or master level combined with experience from project sales. If you have experience from process, separation, and/or membrane technology it would be a plus, but your managerial skills weight higher, especially if you have Experience from driving change. We are 40+ nationalities in Copenhagen so a strong intercultural understanding and interpersonal skills is a must.

You have a customer centric mindset with a lifecycle view along with a strong passion for business, sales development, and working with people. You are expected to develop the business within the team, enable presence, and competence in key sales companies, and we expect you take a holistic view in combination with some operational responsibilities. A key task will be to enable and drive the Digitalization journey for membranes.
