POSITION TITLE: SENIOR BACKEND DEVELOPER
FUNCTIONAL BUSINESS OBJECTIVES (FBOs):
Genkin is looking for a potential Senior Backend Developer to spearhead the design, development, and optimization of robust backend solutions that power our cutting-edge applications. Your deep technical expertise, coupled with leadership capabilities, will influence architecture decisions, enhance performance, and drive innovation in our software projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable and high-performance backend services, APIs, and systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate project requirements into technical solutions.
- Develop technical strategies to optimize system reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Participate in architectural discussions and contribute insights to system design decisions.
- Guide and mentor junior developers, providing technical expertise and fostering growth.
- Oversee the testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of backend components.
- Lead code reviews, offering constructive feedback and ensuring code quality.
- Participate in the evaluation and adoption of new tools and technologies.
- Research and experiment with innovative solutions to technical challenges.
- Champion security and data protection measures within backend systems.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related subject.
- At least 2 years experience in related fields.
- Knowledge about logistics is a plus.
- Strong experience in programming languages: Golang/Nodejs/Python.
- Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform, CI/CD, SCM, Docker, Prometheus, Grafana, building, Amazon Website Service, and deploying infrastructure with cloud deployment technologies.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft technologies, specifically: .NET/ASP.NET Core, C#, LINQ.
- Knowledge about relational databases: MSSQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDb, etc.
- Knowledge about noSQL databases: MongoDB, Redis, etc. is a plus.
- Demonstrable experience developing software in a Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) paradigm.
- Experience designing or implementing public-facing REST APIs.
